Hi, I am Cynthia!

I am a social entrepreneur, marketing & digital transformation expert, and mentor with over 20 years of experience supporting youth-led organisations.

I believe in the power of creativity, storytelling, and technology to create social and economic opportunities.

Therefore, in 2017, I founded African Gist, an initiative empowering creatives and young entrepreneurs through digital and leadership training. Since then, African Gist has supported more than 350 young people across Africa, Europe, and the United States through workshops, digital content, community events, and cross-border collaborations.

I also advocate for greater visibility and opportunities for African creatives and digital entrepreneurs through international conferences and high-level platforms.

In 2019, I was a recurring expert on BBC Africa’s “Question d’argent”, sharing marketing advice with entrepreneurs.

Since 2022, I have been a mentor with Belgium’s Team Mentorat programme and a “Booster” within the Isys network, supporting young women of African descent in their professional careers.

My work sits at the intersection of digital inclusion, creativity, mentorship, and community building.
